Suranga Nanayakkara
Chief Executive Officer
A finance professional with over two decades of experience at MAS, Suranga commenced his career as a Management Trainee at MAS Linea Intimo in 1999. Over the years, he progressed through the ranks before ultimately attaining the position of Director Finance, Planning & Logistics at MAS Active in 2013. He further horned his leadership capabilities by taking over the responsibilities of Director – Manufacturing in the year 2017.
Suranga took on the mantle as Chief Executive Officer at MAS Legato in 2021, leveraging his extensive experience and strategic acumen to provide leadership to the captive Shared Services of MAS. His academic credentials include an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management and a degree in Mathematics from the University of Colombo. Additionally, he is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK.

Chandana Gurusinghe
Director Process and Operations
Chandana is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, Shared Services, and BPO operations. He is currently the Director – Process and Operations at MAS Legato, where he leads the Finance Operations. In this role, he brings best-in-class industry practices to MAS, stabilizes finance operations, and drives optimization through automation and process excellence.
Chandana began his career in 1996 as an Audit Trainee and has since held key positions at Ernst & Young, Orit Apparels, Brandix, and Accenture. A pioneer employee at Accenture Sri Lanka, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Financial and Management Accounting BPO functions for its client, Brandix. During his tenure as General Manager – Finance Operations, he led several local and international client engagement projects, including in Singapore, the UAE, and India, and was instrumental in promoting process excellence and automation initiatives.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (FCA) and a graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He also holds membership in the Association of Chartered Accountants of the UK and has completed his Executive MBA at the Postgraduate Institute of Management.
Chandana is an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, serving as the Alternate Chair of the Committee for Student Training and Skill Development and a member of the Digitization Committee, where he continues to contribute to the advancement of the profession.

Stephanie Reith
General Manager HR Service Delivery
Stephanie commenced her journey with MAS in 2019, at MAS Capital, giving direction to the pioneer HR Transformation initiative as Manager – Projects. Her adept leadership over the years showcased her strategic acumen and commitment to organization success. In her current role as General Manager – Human Resource Delivery at MAS Legato since June 2022, Stephanie spearheads the Human Resource operations, steering service delivery with a keen focus on strategic initiatives, digitization and automation and transforming the HR function of MAS.
Beyond her impactful journey within MAS, Stephanie’s career spans 17+ years in strategy, consulting, project management and operations. Having previously worked at MTI Consulting, Bharti Airtel, Brandix and Accenture, her passion for HR Transformation was ignited when she set up the Shared Service for Accenture Sri Lanka and proceeded to head the HR operations. Stephanie’s educational foundation comprises a Master’s in Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK), coupled by a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from the American College of Higher Education. Her experience in a diverse range of industries underscores her commitment to continuous learning, and driving transformation, providing a solid base for her dynamic leadership in the ever-evolving landscape of Human Resources.

Ismail Salahudeen
Head of HR and Sustainable Business
Ismail embarked on his journey with MAS Capital in 2013, as an HR Executive within the Central Talent Attraction team. His early career was marked by active involvement in various talent attraction initiatives and contributing to the organization's branding and social media presence. Demonstrating his prowess in the HR domain, Ismail progressed to the role of Assistant Manager within the Group Human Resources function.
In 2020, Ismail transitioned to MAS Legato, assuming the role of Head of Human Resources and Administration, with his impactful contributions leading to a swift promotion in 2021, elevating him to the position of Manager – Human Resources and Administration. Throughout this period, Ismail showcased a keen understanding of human resources dynamics and a strategic approach to HR and administrative functions.
His academic foundation is grounded on a degree in Management from Imperial Institute of Higher Education, further enriching his professional capabilities. Currently, as the Deputy General Manager - Human Resources & Sustainable Business since 2023, Ismail continues to play a pivotal role in steering HR strategies, underscoring his dedication to fostering sustainable business practices within the organisation. His journey from an HR Executive to a key managerial position is a testament to his dynamic leadership and continuous commitment to excellence.
